Below are only a sample of the buns available through Dogwood Animal Rescue! Click the button to visit all their furry friends and take one or two home!

For adoption inquiries, applications can be submitted through our website. From there, we follow a process that includes a review of the application, a phone consultation, and a meet-and-greet to ensure the best possible match for both the animal and adopter. Our rabbit adoption fee is $100, or $175 for a bonded pair, and all rabbits are spayed/neutered and up to date on parasite prevention.

Sasha Velour is a rabbit with a calm and gentle spirit, a charming blend of sweetness, curiosity, playfulness, and independence. He enjoys having a cozy space to relax and unwind, whether in a soft bed or tucked away in a hidey box. While he can be a little reserved at first, he enjoys pets and continues to gain confidence with patient, gentle interactions. Sasha also has a fun-loving side and enjoys tossing toys, digging, and exploring enrichment activities. His love of treats and veggies makes him easy to win over, and with time, he blossoms into a wonderful companion full of quiet charm.

Articuno is a sweet, easygoing grey female rabbit, approximately 1 year old. A larger bunny with a calm and gentle personality, Articuno loves to relax and is especially known for her adorable full-body flops on cool, comfortable surfaces. She enjoys exploring at her own pace and is curious about new spaces and enrichment activities. While she is still building confidence with handling, she accepts gentle pets and is becoming more comfortable interacting with people. Articuno is also working on her litter habits and is expected to continue improving with patience and consistency. An excellent hay eater who enjoys plenty of room to move and stretch, Articuno would thrive in a home that appreciates her relaxed nature and is willing to support her growing confidence.

Oprah Bunfrey is a rabbit with a bold, vibrant spirit, a lively mix of independence, curiosity, and affection. She enjoys having her own space to explore and thrives when given enrichment like dig boxes and cardboard, which help keep her happily engaged. While she has lots of energy and personality, she also has a sweet side and will come forward for pets and nose rubs once she’s comfortable. Oprah loves her veggies and sun salad time, and she ’ s an excellent hay eater with very good litter habits. With her playful yet affectionate nature, Oprah Bunfrey would make a fun and loving companion for someone looking for a rabbit with personality and heart.

Frost is a rabbit with a bright and adventurous spirit, a wonderful blend of energy, curiosity, friendliness, and affection. She loves exploring new spaces, staying active, and keeping busy with enrichment and toys. Frost is incredibly social and enjoys being around people, happily seeking out attention, pets, and forehead rubs whenever she can. Her playful personality shines through in her zoomies, flops, and endless curiosity about the world around her.
