Dorset Rescue Kitten
This month’s featured rescue is Dorset Rescue Kittens. Don’t let the name fool you - they have plenty of bunnies waiting for a home!
This rescue holds a special place in the Books & Buns’ hearts as this is where we found our darling Keanu!
Scroll down to see some bunnies currently up for adoption, and maybe you’ll find your next best bun-friend!
Dorset Rescue Kittens is an Ontario based charity specializing in the rescue, rehabilitation and adoption of cats, bunnies and many other animals coming from outdoor living situations, overcrowded situations and many other places around Ontario. They are a dedicated group of volunteers relying on donations to keep their program running in order to save hundreds of cats, bunnies and other animals annually.
If anyone is interested in adopting a bunny or a pair of bunnies, they can submit a rabbit adoption application found in the drop down menu at the top of their website (found below). A phone call will be scheduled to discuss their history and proper care. If everything feels like a match, a meet and greet is scheduled at the time of adoption to ensure the right fit. Their bunny adoption fee is $100 or $175 for a pair. All of their bunnies are on parasite treatment and spayed or neutered!
